Partner Faculty
Faculty whose primary ministry assignment is support of theological education through KTS are Partner Faculty. The Partner Faculty category represents the highest level of dedication, commitment, faithfulness and accountability to the mission and vision of KTS among faculty at the seminary. In addition to their teaching responsibilities, which are coordinated through the Academic Office, Partner Faculty participate in administrative functions of the seminary which can include: director of a program or major, academic or assistant academic dean, seminary pastor, Executive Committee, and standing on ad hoc faculty committees. Partner Faculty attend all faculty and in-service meetings and have the right to vote on issues requiring faculty vote.

Associate Faculty
Faculty whose primary ministry assignment is not with KTS, but who teach at least two courses per academic year (semester-long or modular) are Associate Faculty. Associate Faculty attend faculty meetings during semesters they have full-time courses, however, they may not vote on issues put up for faculty vote.

Visiting Faculty
Faculty who teach only one class or less per year are Visiting Faculty. The seminary will make every effort to provide necessary work area for Visiting Faculty. Visiting Faculty are not obligated to attend faculty meetings.
