Applicants are required to:

  • Take part in a personal interview.

  • Achieve a passing score on the extension program's Examination of Comprehension of Written English.

  • Demonstrate written competence by composing an essay in a supervised situation at the seminary.

Students will be expected to understand written English, since most theological and related works used in the program are written in English. A written English proficiency examination will be administered as part of the admissions process. Attention will be given to conversational English abilities necessary for student-student interaction, particularly if expatriate students from the U.S. and other countries will be enrolled.

Students who do not pass the English proficiency exam will be required to study the English language elsewhere prior to admission.
