Admissions Policy Revised: June 16, 2009 Overview Admission to any undergraduate program of study is selective and based upon following criteria: - The applicant must be born again, baptized by faith, be a member of an evangelical church and demonstrate commitment to Christ in his or her life;
- The applicant must agree with and sign the KTS doctrinal statement, which is part of the Application Questionnaire;
- Completion of secondary education and proof of academic aptitude;
- Submission of required documents.
Application process Prospective students seeking admissions to any program of study should request an Application Package from the Academic Office. Applicant should submit to Academic Office all of the following documents: - Completed Application Questionnaire*;
- Completed by non-relatives three Reference Forms*;
- Copies of educational credentials including secondary education; originals must be provided after acceptance to the program;
- Standard medical certificate;
- Copy of personal identification number and copy of his/her passport;
- Three photos, 4х6 cm.
* Part of the Application Package. References are not considered valid for more than 12 months prior to the actual time of registration. Any student accepted to KTS on the basis of fraudulent information may be subject to dismissal from the seminary. The Enrollment Committee will invite an applicant for admissions interview and entrance exams only after he/she has submitted all required documents on time and all documents have been evaluated. Examinations are as following: Exam #1 – Ukrainian and Russian Language Competency and Bible Knowledge; and Exam #2 – Doctrinal Essay with open Bible. Acceptance for enrollment is determined on the basis of completed application, examination scores and interview. Requirements for Transfer Students Students of other schools who want to transfer to KTS to complete their bachelor degree should have a minimum 2.5 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale) for at least 24 credits of a bachelor level program in their former institution. They should submit all required documents (see above) and also an official transcript provided by the educational institution from which they are transferring. Transfer students must be interviewed.
