CE 101 Introduction to Christian Education (3)
A survey of the fundamentals of Christian Education including goals, theology, history, philosophy, Scripture as the foundation of, and the role of the Holy Spirit, including discussion of the spiritual gift of teaching and the qualifications and character of one ministering in the context of Christian Education, and a overview of Christian Education ministry opportunities.

CE 102 Educational Psychology (3)
A survey of educational psychology principles with discussion of which principles can best be used in Christian Education ministry in order to be more effective in teaching "so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ" (Col. 1:28).

CE 201 Principles of Teaching (3)
Effective teaching is studied from the perspective of the learner, including a changed life, motivational factors, needs, learning styles, and development. Analysis of the role of the teacher as the orchestrator of the teaching-learning process includes discussion of the role of the Holy Spirit, the teacher's character, hermeneutical techniques, principles of lesson design, communication strategies and classroom management.

CE 203 Teaching Preschoolers (3)
This course examines and considers the special age-level needs and characteristics of preschoolers and the impact of these on preparing teachers, planning programs, and determining facilities for the church's youngest learners.

CE 204 Teaching Children (3)
The course covers basic principles of the Gospel applicable to a child, shows the spiritual condition of a child and provides instruction in lesson preparation and communicating the gospel to children.

CE 302 Teaching Adults (3)
Considers life issues and characteristics of adults and the impact of those on preparing teachers, planning programs, and determining facilities. Includes a look at small group ministry.

CE 303 Camping (3)
This course introduces and trains leaders in the philosophy and methodology of camp ministry and inspires them to use their God-given gifts to develop the necessary skills to organize and lead youth camps which will lead youth to Christ and his church.

CE 401 Special Ministries (3)
This course is an overview of several ministries, including, but not limited to puppets, crisis pregnancy, orphans, English, library, men's and women's ministries. It is designed to introduce students to a broad range of ministry opportunities and resources.

CE 402 Administration and Leadership (3)
Designed to develop leadership potential in students and help them understand various elements of the administrative process including: goal setting and achieving, organization, delegation, interpersonal relationships, group dynamics, supervision, and the equipping of other leaders.

CE 403 Curriculum Design (3)
This course covers the issues, skills, principles and practice of designing a curriculum for theological schools with special attention to the needs of such schools in a Ukrainian context.
